So I turned 22 yesterday and Dave took me to Medeival Times. It was amazing. I didn't know it could be so much fun. We were on the green team, and our knight was the coolest because he had long curly hair and he kept making rock on hand symbols and I just kept imagining him soloing on electric guitar while riding a horse. They all battled it out Hercules style and our dude won. Sweet.

Last weekend we saw crispin Glover do a slideshow in Manhattan. He read from some of his books and then he showed a movie he produced that I would rather not have seen. It was messed up. He looks much older now.

It snowed on Valentine's Day. This is what it looks like out our front door at dawn.

Sooooo, hangin out over here till my lease is up in May and then moving back to L.A. Gaaaaah it's cold and I can't wait. Here's a mural I did at some lady's house for work:

Lots of housepainting. I think I'm losing brain cells from all the paint fumes. Duurr.

<lj:music>I Want to Ride My Bicycle - Queen</lj:music>

Yeah! So we've gone all around the west so far!

We started with Vegas, gambling at the nickle slots and drinking dollar margaritas all day. Vegas gets an A+ for providing me with entertainment and plentiful cheap alcohol.

We went over the Hoover Dam and through Arizona, saw the grand canyon, slept in the sketchiest town in the gigantic Navajo Reservation where there are don't drink and drive signs everywhere but you can't buy a single alcoholic beverage anywhere. That was gay.

We went to Santa Fe, New Mexico, and stayed in a pueblo in the mountains of Taos. It snowed all over us.

Then we spent two weeks in a cabin in the mountains of Colorado Springs surrounded by trees and rivers. I liked it because it was free, and I could be a mountain man. We visited Devin in Boulder, Colorado for a few days, but there were too many white people and jocks and asshole cops who want to confiscate your ID because they don't believe you're actually over 21 and all the food cost over 7 dollars. Don't go to Boulder.

We then drove over the Rocky Mountains to the west, up through permasnow and then down the most pretty valley ever along the Colorado River. I want to raise goats on a farm there.

Then there was Arches and Canyonlands National Parks in southern Utah. Lots of nice looking rocks and things of the sort but after a day it just looks like death and you're dying of heat exhaustion and you're dirty so you take a shower in a water fountain but then you're too hot again in 5 minutes.

So we bailed on Utah and drove right through Mormonville without stopping and made it to Idaho, but it was still hot there and much smellier on account of all the farms and cows. We found a river in Boise, Idaho to lay by in a park under some trees to escape the heat and drank many a delicious slushee at the greatest fastfood chain ever, Sonic Burger. I love Sonic Burger. I want to go to Sonic Burger right now.

In the night time, we drove into Oregon. Lots of Oregon is more smelly farms, but once you make it to the Colombia River, there are trees and you feel good. It was something like 95 degrees so we stopped in a small town to get some beverages and found a park by an inlet in the Colombia River roped off for swimming. It was so good to swim around in it. We stayed in a camping park near by the river surrounded by trees. I could live there also.

Yesterday we got to Portland, and that's where we are now. Portland. I like Portland. It's like a tiny San Fran mixed with Manhattan and Brooklyn but tiny style. We've been walking all around and living large. So that's it for now. Portland. More later!

But it was very good to me.
I was a creepy old ghost lady. We just surveyed the scene from our roof and walked around a bit to check out costumes.

We carved five Jack o'Lanterns! Cookies and caramel apples. This one is a scary black cat. But I didn't have a cat cookie cutter. I think it's an upside down Santa.

One good thing about October being over is we vowed to only rent horror movies in October and now its done and I can watch a freaking comedy or something. We rented 21 horror movies total (Netflix is crazy shit). The only ones I really liked were Ginger Snaps about super gothic sisters-turned-horny-werewolves and I Drink Your Blood about satanist hippies with rabies.

Hope everyone had terrifying halloweenies! This one goes out to Elliot, who first introduced me to the glorious absurdity that is Conan the Barbarian, who speaks in a heavy austrian accent, punches camels in the face, takes women when he wants them, and then throws them into the fire when he is done. Yes, he is an amazing man. Thank you, Elliot. And thank you, Arnold for inspiring this portrait.

I'm dropping out of school. It's a waste of money. At least at this moment in time. I think what most college gratduates lack as they graduate college and go forth into the business world with fourty grand in debt is life experience and adventure. There's no time for adventure once you get started in your career. Therefore, I am going to spend the next year saving up moneys and Dave and I are going to buy an RV and travel all over and see all the cities and all the oceans and mountains, meanwhile painting and playing music and partying and ruling. And I insist on being in LA frequently to get my groove on and warm up from this SF rain and cold cold wind. Yes.

And I need a new job. Selling hot dogs to assholes in freezing gales of wind sucks a big dick.

Why drink beers and shots of rum all the time when you could make fancy mixed drinks? They're so good! Right!? I went to the corner store downstairs to get tiny tequila, rum, vodka, and gin bottles so I could try making a long island iced tea, and the corner store guy ended up giving me all these free bottles of mixers like melon liquer, vermouth, pina colada mix, margarita mix, lime juice, and mango malibu. I feel like having a swank party with martinis and mai tais.

Oh! And I went to a party with Dave's co-workers who are obsessed with Dance Dance Revolution and iguanas. They had two pads set up in their living room in front of the TV and two lizard cages and nothing else in the room. Someone should put a camera above the TV when people play DDR cuz they look so funny. I know I looked funny....

Apple pie.

I just had the stupidist journey to LA ever. Let's just say my secretary, Bernard.. o, is getting fired for not reminding me to ask the person I came to visit if he had tuesday and wednesday free. Sir Anthony was busy guarding seeeecrets, and so I hung out with my mom for a day and a half. At least my mom is fun and wanted to go look at kittens and eat sushi and exchange stories about LSD experiences. Next time it will be much better planned. Summer is on it's way! And I think I am going to drop out of school, get an RV with Dave and drive around the country, so I will have a much longer leisurely stay in LA.

And so, Anthony! I'm sorry I didn't get to goof with you! SooN! I swear! Meh.

    <lj:music>Nilsson - Coconut</lj:music>

So in my rather cutting edge hot dog vending life, I was wondering why the hot dogs were not cooking as fast as usual, but I thought, eh, people can eat their hot dogs cold for all I care, and ignored it.
By the time the sun was going down I had a headache and started getting tunnel vision when I coworker who's nostrils were working smelled gas. Apparently only half the burner was working and I was breathing gas all day long. And then the motor generator that we use to power the lights at night freaked out and sent huge clouds of nasty white gasoline smoke billowing into the intersection, and I suppose I inhaled a lot because I can't get the exhaust smell out of my hair. So I'm a few braincells short today.

Moving on, I want to go to a tropical island and sleep in a hammock and wear an ugly hawaiian print shirt. So I am drinking pina coladas I made with Bacardi, Malibu, and pineapple juice instead. And let me tell you, they are good. They remind me of Adelita's house and meeting Dave. And being a pirate back in the day. So good.

Then I'll pop out some kids and send them to private pre-schools when they're 6 months old.
Maybe I would really do all this if I was totally gay.
But I'm not.
So party on, yo.
And while you're at it, fetch me some birthday cake.
I like the white cake with rainbow blobs in it.
And covered in those candy letters.
And make sure they always spell things even if by the end you can only spell 'dug' and 'jpeg' and 'todd'
Mmmmm.
